Duchess of Cambridge - pretty in pink.

Wish I looked half as good as this when I was 8 months pregnant.

Prince Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William share a joke as they gathered with other members to celebrate the grand ceremony

Or even when I was 6, 4 or 2 months pregnant!!

Baby jogger vs skateboard-buggy

I am a runner so I regularly like to take my LO out in our baby jogger.  She loves it too.  It's a great way for me to get the exercise I need without having to wait until my other half can take over childcare duties and I can get my trainers on.  Running buggies are a life savers for running mummies.

However I saw this buggy/skaeboard in the paper today and I have to be honest, I find it a little scary.
Children between the ages of nine months and four-and-a-half years old can comfortably sit in the buggy

I'm sure it would be fun in the park or on a cycle path but I just wouldn't feel safe skateboarding along the pavement with it.  I think I will stick to my baby jogger.
My LO is nearly 20 months old now.  I can't believe how big she is or have grown up she seems already.  I originally tried to start this blog when she was only a couple of months old but you know how you never have time to do anything when a little one comes along.

Any spare blogging time has been on my other blog, but I want to start writing for this blog more now that we are hoping the next LO will be coming along.

Nothing has happened yet but I already feel half a stone heavier, probably because I am.  Since my last big race I have struggled for motivation and added to that a minor knee issue I have been doing far too much comfort eating and far too little exercise and as a result I have been spreading outwards.  It's pretty depressing, which only makes me want to eat more.  It's a fat viscious circle (otherwise known as a blimp!)

On holiday next week so no dieting there but hopefully more time to exercise (since work can't get in the way) but after that I am definitely going to have to sort out my diet.  Going to attempt to go lower-carb.  I don't think I could go properly low-carb but I will certainly try and reduce my intake of them.

Well, that's a pretty poor effort to start this blog but it will have to do.
